In-Class Exercise — Archive #1 on Canvas
- Open the Archive Explorer and browse all ten collections.
- Pick one and focus on the examples provided, or dive deeper and explore the archive on the Library of Congress website.
- Examine the metadata provided on at least one item. What categories are included? What information is provided? Is any information missing, and why might that be? How does that inform your understanding of the object?
- Consider: what does the archive include, and why? What story does the archive tell?
